Need help finding your release point when you pitch...here are drills you can do to help with this! Finding the proper release point can be tough, but I think I have a drill for you: It's called the Arm Whip or T Drill. Here is link to a movie on how to do it properly located at the bottom of the page. The lady in the video is practicing her whip, but she is working on the proper release point at the same time. This T Drill is a drill you can practice almost anywhere. All you do is whip your arm down from a half-cocked position and have the ball end up in your glove. Sounds easy enough, right? This way you can practice your whip and get faster AND work on your release point. I would do that drill about 25 times before throwing from the mound and you should see improvement pretty quickly. I hope that helps! www.weplay.com/youth-softball/drills/242-Downswing-and-Arm-Whip
