The other day I was trying to wrap my head around a simple way to increase power at the plate. Here is what I came up with:
Most of your power comes from your legs and hips--not your arms. In theory, if you work on trying to keep your hands back for an extra split second you will be further into your hip pop when you start to bring your bat through the zone and you could potentially generate more power. Could trying to keep the bat bat an extra split second be an easy way to help hitters increase their power?
