First paragraph: Introduce yourself and indicate your interest in their school and team. Put information about their school that you know or even why you are interested. See your best traits(
this is a good paragraph for your best stats, qualities. Tell the coach HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THEIR TEAM..)
Second paragraph: Academic information ( GPA, types of classes you are taking, your intended major) plus any activities you are involved in at school. Keep it short and to the point. Point out highlights.
Third paragraph: Any additional stats you want to state.
Fourth paragraph: If you have a web address or your team has a web address, put it here. Put your travel or high school coach's e-mail address and/or phone number ( with their permission). Tell the coach about your Fall and/or summer plans and tournaments and where they can see you. Also reference your video or DVD if possible.
Fifth paragraph: Thank them for their time and tell them you will keep in touch with them.
